Katherine Heigl Puffs on Vapor Stick on The Late Show with David Letterman

All new electric cigarettes send shock-waves across America – Katherine Heigl claims to have finally quit smoking by using this remarkable new device.

Glendale, CA (PRWEB) November 19, 2010

An e-Cigarette is an electronic device that offers adult smokers the option of replacing their analog (rolled tobacco) cigarettes with a cleaner more enjoyable method to satisfy their nicotine habit.

All e-Cigarettes are built basically the same.  They have a re-chargeable battery, an atomizer (changes the liquid to a vapor) and a cartridge (hold the liquid next to the atomizer).  There are different configurations, but again they are basically the same type of device.

The battery life on a charge varies based on the size of the battery, the bigger the battery, the longer the charge life (also longer to re-charge).  The batteries have a variety of charging options, AC, DC, and USB.  It is a good idea to have at least 2 batteries so one can be charged while the other is in use.  For heavy users, a third is a must.

The atomizers also come in different configurations and some models have a combination of atomizer and cartridge built as one unit, called a cartomizer.  The atomizers are an item that must be kept moist when being used or they can burn out.  A spare atomizer is a must.  As this devise has a small heating coil that turns the liquid in to a vapor, the use of the e-cigarette is called ‘vaping’, not smoking; as there is no flame, smoke from burning tobacco and paper and no ash.

Cartridges hold the liquid or e-liquid, also called ‘juice’.  The cartridges are refillable and disposable, depending on the model you are using.  The refillable cartridges have a poly-fiber insert that is moistened when juice is dripped on to it.  The poly-fibers can get old and the cartridge should be replaced when the fibers begin to break down (begin to look stringy), turn yellow or brown, or the flavor of your juice tastes burnt.  Generally a cartridge, will last a day or two depending on frequency of use.  Remember the fibers hold the juice and at times the fiber draws down in to the cartridge, you should pull the fiber (pick the cotton) up to the height of the cartridges edge to get the juice to the atomizer.  Pick the cotton gently with a toothpick, paperclip, tweezers, etc.

E-liquid ‘juice’, contains propylene glycol USP as the carrier of the liquid’s flavoring (more than 50 flavors being produced) and the nicotine content.  The nicotine strengths usually come in High (24-26mg), Med (18-20mg) and Low (10-12mg), you can also get the juice with NO (0mg) nicotine and simply enjoy the flavor of the juice.   We are expanding our selection and will be introducing new and exciting flavors.
